Catholic Health Initiatives, a national healthcare organization, established the Center for Translational Research to develop cutting-edge diagnostic and laboratory services for patients and clinicians within the 78-hospital system. GCS worked with CTR to refine the portfolio of proposed services and develop a commercialization roadmap.

QBM Cell Science
QBM Cell Science, an Ottawa neuroscience company, needed a global distributor for cryopreserved neuronal cells from mice and rats. GCS identified Cambrex Biosciences (now Lonza) as an excellent prospect with complementary products. We worked with QBM and Cambrex to negotiate a deal that laid the foundation for a successful long-term partnership.

Larta Institute is a Los Angeles non-profit that fosters innovation and entrepreneurship by working with government agencies to support growing businesses, driving the commercialization of products from sponsored research. Dr. Taylor serves as a Principal Advisor to companies receiving SBIR Phase II funding from the National Institutes of Health and U.S. Department of Agriculture. In this role, he works with company CEOs and other senior managers to enhance their product commercialization strategies and interact effectively with early-stage investors, partners, and customers.

Center for Molecular Medicine
The Board of Directors of the Center for Molecular Medicine in Grand Rapids, MI, asked GCS to review their business model and recommend strategies for increasing profitability and driving adoption of cutting-edge molecular diagnostics assays. Dr. Taylor interviewed board members, customers, employees, and collaborators, and researched the applications and markets targeted by CMM. GCS provided the Board with a comprehensive summary of this work and a set of actionable recommendations.
